The Feast of St. Albert the Great

Greetings!  It is snowing outside right now, so even though we are preparing for Thanksgiving it is looking much more like Christmastime.  We just returned from the 19th annual EWTN Catholic Radio Conference.  I felt it was one of the best ever.  They announced that Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers will be joining Gloria Purvis in January on Morning Glory at 6 a.m. weekdays.  The Conference always begins with a retreat day at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  We were able to visit with the sisters and I asked them to pray for you, and I asked for Mother Angelica’s intercession for you at her crypt.

This apostolate was founded on prayer, specifically Eucharistic adoration.  We believe at this time we all need to be praying and fasting.  We cannot express any more emphatically the need to pray a daily rosary.  Please continue to pray for the Church and our country.

Catholic radio is changing lives.  I hear from people nearly every day who often are near tears with their gratitude for being able to listen.  Your gifts help people who contact us from prison, for those who need an encouraging word, those that need to be challenged in their faith.  Those who need prayer for themselves or family members reach out to us and people who are grateful to have heard just what they needed to help them answer a question.  Your donations help share the Faith, we are so thankful for and rely on your assistance.  Please prayerfully consider giving a sacrificial donation to Covenant Network before the end of the year.

Covenant Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible.  If you would like to make a donation in honor of someone, send me their name and address and I will send them a Christmas card acknowledging your gift.

I can’t believe how this year has flown by!  I don’t think I remember one going so fast, Advent begins December 2.  We wish you a spiritually fruitful Advent and a

Blessed and Merry Christmas!

The Feast of St. Robert Bellarmine

This week is Summer’s last hurrah, we are supposed to have temperatures in the mid90s. We have had some glimpses of Autumn weather and I’m really looking forward to their return.
