The Feast of Our Lady of Fatima

Greetings!  How can it already be June?  It’s almost summer, almost half of the year is already over!  It has been a good year so far, but I cannot believe how quickly time seems to be moving.  Today, I am enjoying the beautiful weather, we have had so much rain, today is sunny and warm and outside my windows the azaleas and rhododendrons are blooming and the grass is green.  It is looking like it is going to be a gorgeous day!

June is the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus!  How will you recognize this in your life and home?  If you haven’t already, please consider enrolling your home and family to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts.  Find a special prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus that you can pray at breakfast or dinner together.  June 1 is First Saturday, June 2 is the Ascension of the Lord, June 9 is Pentecost Sunday, June 16 is The Most Holy Trinity, June 23 is Corpus Christi (try to attend a Procession), and June 28 is the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I am looking forward to the summer, having our daughter home from college, and getting outside to walk in the woods, fish, time to be with family and friends, and visit some shrines that are new to us.  If you are traveling, you can listen to Covenant Network on our app anywhere, anytime.  You can also listen on the website at ourcatholicradio.org.

On the website we launched a new prayer initiative for our 22nd anniversary inviting you to join us in praying a Memorare to St. Joseph for the sanctification of families.  You can find the prayer there, and you can also make a pledge to pray there.  I would really appreciate hearing that you are going to participate and how often you will pray the prayer before May of 2020.  You can pledge to pray it daily, weekly, or however often is good for you.  You can participate as a school, parish organization, a family, or just on your own.

We hope you have a great summer, and will continue to listen to Catholic radio to keep growing and building up your Faith and the Church.  We, as the Body of Christ, must continue to study, grow and learn.  Remember if we are not continuing to build up we are falling back.  Please help support Covenant Network fortify the Faith in all who listen.  May God bless you!

Sincerely in Christ,

Teresa M. Holman
