The Feast of St. Bonaventure

Greetings!  Summer is nearing the end for all those headed back to school.  I can’t believe how quickly this summer has flown.  We began with a lot of rain and now we are really getting in to the heat and humidity.  I spent last week with my father and family on vacation and experienced our first hurricane warning and preparations.  Thankfully it downgraded to a tropical storm, but there are still Covenant Network listeners recovering, as are those in Jefferson City from the tornado.

I hear from listeners almost every day asking about a program that they heard.  Usually they want to know who a speaker was or where they can listen again, but often they think of someone who would really need or like to hear it.  If you hear anything that inspires you to share with someone, let me know if you need help finding the source and I will do what I can to help you get it.

Covenant Network is available 24 hours a day on radio, the internet, or on our app.  I encourage you to listen to all of the resources we have available, and to use the great information on the Grow page of our website at OurCatholicRadio.org.

How has Catholic radio helped you?  Do you have programs that have helped you learn the Faith and be able to better share it with others?  Imagine if we all shared what we learned with others.  Take the time to commit to memory something you hear and share it with someone.  Can you help support the apostolate?  We need your support.  Catholic radio does change lives, many people have used the teaching they hear on this apostolate to help them come home to the Church.  Please prayerfully consider supporting Covenant Network.

Would you be interested in helping as a volunteer?  We especially need volunteers who could help with mailing the newsletter.  If you are interested please give us a call or send me an email at teresa@covenantnet.net.

August is the month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and August 15 is a Holy Day of Obligation.  I hope you have had a great summer.  May God bless you!

Sincerely,

Teresa M. Holman
