The Feast of St. Ignatius of Antioch

Greetings!  This has been a busy week at the station, we have been wrapping up the Fall Radiothon.  As we were returning from a funeral today, I was noticing how the trees are just beginning to show some color.  The early morning today was very cool, but by mid-morning the temperatures were fabulous and I kept thinking it would be a great day to get outdoors.  I think this is going to be a gorgeous Fall, we had plenty of rain this year so I’m hopeful.

Thank you to everyone who supported Covenant Network during the Fall Radiothon with your prayers and support!  It was a good radiothon, we were pleased to hear from so many people, have some of our fabulous listeners here to help on air and on the phones, and the prayers of all those who kept us buoyed throughout the week.  We raised about $323,000. THANK YOU to everyone who helped!  May God richly bless you!

November always makes me think of Thanksgiving, and all the blessings, and crosses, I have to be thankful for.  It is the month of the Poor Souls, so remember to keep them in your daily prayers, pray especially for family and friends, priests and religious, and those who have no one to pray for them.  All Saints’ Day is on First Friday this month, and All Souls’ Day on First Saturday.  Make plans to get to Holy Mass and Confession both days to fulfill your devotions.  There are special indulgence opportunities for the Poor Souls throughout November but especially from November 1 – 8.

Finally, I wish you a very blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!  I can’t believe how quickly October went by!  This year is going to be over much too soon.  May God bless you!  Please keep Covenant Network in your prayers.

Sincerely in Christ,

Teresa M. Holman
