Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Mother of God

Greetings!  I can’t believe I’m writing the January 2020 newsletter already!!!  I’m not ready for Christmas yet, but it is okay because I plan to keep celebrating throughout Christmas, at least until Epiphany and some things until the Baptism of the Lord.

Looking back over the year, it has been a very good one and we have much for which to be thankful.  We are excited for the new year and are looking forward to some new local programs and other new changes to help us better serve you and help us all grow on our path toward our Eternal reward.  We have one new program that will air in January with Fr. Michael Lampe and Chris Foeldi, A Spiritual Roadmap to Heaven.  Tune in and listen on Sundays at 9 am and Thursdays at 2 pm.

I love Christmas music so much that I can listen all year, but I have been so busy this year that it has been pretty easy for me not to listen “early”.  I am excited to begin hearing it on our stations soon.  Thanks for listening and waiting with us.  We will keep it on throughout Christmas.

January is the month of the Holy Name and the Childhood of Jesus.  The Joyful mysteries are my favorite of the rosary, I guess that is why the Advent/Christmas season is such an important time to me, and a perfect meditation for January.  Do you make an intention or write a personal motto or virtue to work on for the year?  I like the idea of choosing a saint for the year, one that especially might be someone who is a patron of a virtue that you might be working towards.

In January of 2020 everyone who made a contribution to Covenant Network in 2019 will receive a statement of contributions in the mail.  Covenant Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We need your support!  Please help Covenant Network as we continue to bring you solid Catholic teaching programs to help you better know, love and serve the Lord in your daily life. You can make a donation by mail, by phone, or by donating online at  Every gift is important.  Please prayerfully consider making an end of the year gift.
Finally, I want to wish you a very blessed and Merry Christmas
