The Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows

October begins the final quarter of 2020! We have begun to have some Autumn weather and my trees started dropping leaves in early September. I’m ready for the pumpkins, apple cider, and firepits.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. We encourage you to pray the rosary everyday, weekdays we will add a rosary at 6am and 6pm this month. Our Lady will lead us to her Son. Many years ago, I heard you should keep a picture of family and friends who are away from the Church (or have special intentions) between images of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They recommended you put them out somewhere so they can be seen to remind you to pray and so that if they see them, they know that you are praying for them. Do you have a prayer corner or altar in your home?

The Fall Radiothon begins Monday, October 5 at 7am and will end on Friday, October 9 at 6pm. The radiothons are critical to keeping the stations operating and sharing the Faith. We need your assistance, please call in your support. If you can only give a little we appreciate your help, but if you have been blessed to give more we really need you. I firmly believe that this station is OUR station, it belongs to all who listen and to those who learn about the Faith because you shared what you heard on Our Catholic Radio. I still need help with the phones for the radiothon. If you would like to help answer calls, please call or email me at Teresa@OurCatholicRadio.org.

If you can offer prayers, rosaries, adoration, or Masses we would be so grateful and would appreciate hearing from you. I wish you a beautiful Autumn. I hope you have the chance to take a nice walk or drive. I implore you to pray a rosary daily for our country. May God bless you! Don’t forget the Fall Radiothon begins October 5th. Please help share this gift of Faith, your donation is so important.

Sincerely in Christ,

Teresa M. Holman
