Good-bye 2020! We hope that 2021 is going to be a great year, we have prayed so intensely. I pray that the new year will be a blessed one for you!
Are you ready for Winter? I’m not a fan of cold weather; I have had my space heater on in my office since before Thanksgiving, but I do appreciate a good snow. There is beauty in a good snow, covering all the dry ground and frosting the trees. If we could keep it off the streets and sidewalks I would be much happier. I read about some test roads being paved with the ability to make the snow and ice melt, I hope it works.
Looking back over 2020, I would not generally think it has been a good year. However, I can say that I have never felt the power of so many people praying as I have known this year. I have heard and seen so many people increasing their fasting and prayers beyond which I had ever before. Truly, it makes my heart soar. We do not know the future but if we can keep up the efforts that we have begun I am confident in what can be accomplished in the new year.
I am really looking forward to celebrating Christmas. It may not look like other years, but we can be most grateful and thankful for all the blessings that we have be given. January is dedicated to the Holy Name and Childhood of Jesus, it is a perfect time to continue the Christmas spirit and decorations, even if you only continue to leave out your Nativity set. Over the years I collected many sets, and this year I left one up a small one almost all year. I think I will continue to do that, but each year leave a different one. It has been an inspiration to me as I pray.
