The Feast of Saint Hilary

Greetings!  February is the month of the Holy Family.  The 2nd of February is Candlemas when the priest blesses the candles that will be used at Mass for the year, you can usually ask, in advance, to have candles blessed for your home use as well.  It is also the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord and many of us consider that the official end of the Christmas season. That leaves us with very little time between Christmas and Lent beginning on February 17.  I also want to remind you of the blessing of throats on February 3, the Feast of St. Blaise.

Anyone who made a donation to Covenant Network in 2020 should receive a Statement of Contributions by the end of January.  If you do not, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can get that to you.  Thanks for supporting Covenant Network Catholic Radio!

Well, I’m hesitant to write this but thus far we have had a very mild winter.  I’m not complaining, it does often seem we get our best snows in late January or February.  So, if we do get a big snow, be careful and take some time to enjoy it from inside!

Are you praying a daily rosary?  Please consider joining in our Rosary Crusade.  You can sign up to commit to praying and choose if you would like to receive occasional encouraging messages.
