The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes

Lenten Greetings!  How is it going?  I hope you are finding yourself faithful to your preparations for Easter.  There are years I find myself making too grand preparations.  This year I was wise enough to begin early so that I would know if I could be successful.  My initial plans were too grand so I scaled back my promises and have set additional goals to accomplish and that is actually helping.

Currently we are in the middle of a bitterly cold stretch of days.  It is hitting all of our listening areas, so I hope you are keeping warm.  I am anxiously awaiting the warmer temperatures and not having to cover every inch of skin when I take my dog outside.

I hope you will join our Rosary Crusade if you have not already.  Please just commit to praying at least one rosary a day.  The power of the rosary combined with the Eucharist is enough to change the world.  Please encourage your family and friends to pray every day.  You can read more on our website OurCatholicRadio.org or on our Facebook page Covenant Network Catholic Radio.  We will also be getting an Instagram account soon for updates on the Rosary Crusade.  Be on the look out for some great information there.

March brings the Spring Radiothon as well.  This year it will be March 22 – 26.  I am always looking for help on the phones and volunteers to help provide breakfast, lunch, or snacks if you can.  If you can help give me a call or email at teresa@ourcatholicradio.org.

I hope you are finding time this Lent to include more prayer and fasting.  Prayer, fasting and almsgiving are representative of the temptations of Christ in the desert and in the Garden of Gethsemane and of Eve in the Garden of Eden, and those we must each overcome in our own lives.

Please consider offering your support to Covenant Network.  We invite you to turn to Covenant Network to assist you in prayer and instruction as you continue on the path He has set for us.  You will be in our prayers.

Sincerely in Christ,

Teresa M. Holman
